Melissa brings over 30 years of experience working in the medical and health care industries to Everyday Money Management. She brings a passion for the health and wellbeing of others, coupled with her experience in corporate business operations and management. As a former Director of Operations for a large mental health practice in NW Washington, DC, she was responsible for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, human resources, building expansion, and information technology. She also had direct responsibility for managing the entire administrative staff spanning three offices across the northeast, in addition to supporting 60 mental health providers.

Melissa’s attention to detail and acumen with money management were put to the test when she moved her 85-year-old mother from her home in Boston, MA to Bethesda, MD. She manages all of her mothers’ finances, tax preparation, investments, estate planning, and medical insurance and loves to help others organize their lives.

Melissa is a native of Newton, MA. She is a graduate of American University with a degree in international studies. She currently lives in Bethesda, MD with her husband and their two kitties. Their “Brady Bunch” family includes three daughters, three sons, two sons-in-law, and grandchildren. She enjoys bike riding, reading, cooking, long power walks and is an avid pickleball player.
