SHARON ZISSMAN, JD, CDMM
Director of Business Development and Client RelationsSharon Zissman is an attorney who worked as counsel for 12 years at the FDIC doing banking and savings and loan litigation and subsequently served as a principal at JMZ financial, a consulting firm that offered CFO services to small and medium size companies. She spent 11 years as the volunteer legal call back coordinator at the Montgomery County Commission for Women.
She is currently a certified daily money manager and has served on the Public Relations Committee, Board Assessment Task Force, and Governance Committee of the American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM). She currently is a Board member of AADMM and Secretary elect, is chair of the Education Committee, and serves on the Annual Conference Committee. In addition she is the coordinator for the Maryland/DC Regional Group of AADMM.
Ms. Zissman joined Everyday Money Management in 2015, and currently serves as its Director of Business Development and Client Relations, assisting with onboarding new hires and clients, training, ensuring that our clients receive excellent service and providing supervision and mentorship to our team of 17 daily money managers. In addition, Ms. Zissman, as a daily money manager, has assisted a broad range of clients including seniors and busy professionals with our full array of services and has helped a number of clients with estate work as well as coordinating with legal, tax and investment professionals.
Ms. Zissman has volunteered as a board or committee member on numerous community organizations and is the immediate past co-president of the Sisterhood of Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County.
She is a fastidious organizer, enjoys working with people and multitasking.
She graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a degree in business and from the George Washington University Law School. She is a native of New York and currently lives in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband. They have three grown children.
