WYNNE KELCH
Daily Money Manager
Wynne got her start in organizing paperwork as an army logistics and personnel officer at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. There she navigated complex rules for passing inspections in dozens of areas, from hazardous material shipment to dental readiness. She found joy in creating detailed, straightforward, and thorough documentation, so that others can get the information they need.
After military service, Wynne continued public service in the Federal Emergency Management Agency as an inspections analyst in the Office of Inspector General. She became a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security and inspected operations related to airport screening, background checks, emergency response, chemical safety, and immigration procedures. Her inspections work built proficiency in handling sensitive information and analyzing data.
Wynne’s financial background comes from over fifteen years as an IRS-certified volunteer tax preparer with Community Tax Aid, Inc. During a career break to raise a family, she supported a companion care small business and took volunteer treasurer roles to keep her spreadsheet skills sharp and expand her knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
A Pennsylvania native, Wynne holds degrees from the University of Virginia and Ohio State University. She currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband and son.
